Dreamweaver CC - About this Course

Dreamweaver is a web design software primarily used for designing, coding, and publishing websites. It offers both visual and code-based editing options, allowing users to create and modify web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages. Dreamweaver is an all-in-one tool for creating, publishing, and managing websites and mobile content. Projects are broken down into beginning, intermediate and advanced. It is recommended that you follow the project sequence that is laid out since each project builds on the previous knowledge gained from the earlier projects in the series. After completing the projects students should take the certification prep tests and certification prep projects before taking the Adobe Dreamweaver industry certification exam.

  • Adobe Stock: Offers a free trial and access to some free images, along with options for purchasing stock photos and vectors.

Dreamweaver Project Folder Setup

Before beginning any of the projects below you need to create a folder storage location on your local computer (or on your cloud storage) to store all of your projects, files, and resources. To do this follow the directions below:   

 

  1. Navigate to your local Documents folder (or cloud storage) on your computer.
  2. Click on the new folder icon 
  3. Create a new folder called DREAMWEAVER-PROJECTS inside your documents folder.
  4. Open the folder DREAMWEAVER-PROJECTS   
  5. Create a new folder inside by clicking on the new folder icon.   
  6. Rename this folder 1-project. Continue to create project folders for all of your future Dreamweaver projects and name them  2-project, 3-project, 4-project, etc. up to the last folder 12-project.
