Data Science and Analytics

Participants conduct research on the annual topic, collect data, use analytics to assess the data and make predictions, and document their work in a portfolio and a display. To address a challenge presented onsite at the conference, semifinalists review specific data sets, provide insights, make predictions, and present their findings for evaluation.

Getting Started

In this step you will need to create a project folder and download the Project Resource Files:

Open the folder called STEAM and Create a new folder inside of it called career-prep on your cloud storage (Onedrive)
Right click the PROJECT RESOURCE FILES link and download the zip file > move it to your project folder > right click the ZIP file and extract the contents to your project folder.
Open Microsoft Office and follow the video directions below to create your new files and save it to your project folder.
